On the Rocks: Ep 7 - More Woody Allen & Movie Teasers
Welcome to the seventh episode of On the Rocks! In this installment, our contributors talk about the most random things. They start it off with talking about horror movies that actually scares them and then move on to the Dark Knight Rises teaser. Since we were on the subject of movie teasers, the Amazing Spider-Man was also brought up. Man... How can a film go wrong with Emma Stone in it? Anyway, if we've seen the Dark Knight teaser, that basically means we have also watched the final Harry Potter film. Each contributor shares their opinion about it. Was it good or was it a miss? Most importantly, who cried? With Harry Potter's final movie out and the Twilight series ending soon, which book series will be the next big thing? Of course, we also pick up from our original recording to continue discussing about Woody Allen films. What is his style and how many awards are under his belt?
Of course, our contributors discuss about more random things as well, so please check out what they have to say!

On the Rocks: Ep 5 - Who is the next Tom Hanks?
Welcome to our only unedited and uncensored segment for the Natural Blog of X. Today, our contributors mainly stayed on the movie topic. With how Larry Crowne failed miserably in the box office and with critics, some people might have harsh criticisms about Tom Hanks' current acting career. No matter what though, he will always be loved by the contributors of the Natural Blog of X, but the main questions is: Can there be a new Tom Hanks? If so, who will it be? As we discuss about this, we couldn't help but notice the actresses were being left out during this conversation as well. Does Hollywood or writers actually treat actresses fairly? Seriously, how many films have you seen that actually revolves around a female role instead of the male?
Episode 13 - Late Night Battle & Movie Pass Fails
Welcome back everyone! Thank you for joining Phil, Dan, and Rob as we have much to say in our 13th episode of the Natural Blog of X podcast. If you usually watch the Grammys award show, I'm sure you have always noticed the huge number of categories they have. Recently, 30 categories from the Grammys had been cut out. Phil will be leading this topic as we express our opinions on this action. Afterwards, Rob will be leading the discussion on the ratings battle between Late Night with Jay Leno and Jon Stewart's the Daily Show. The two shows mainly aim for the same age demographics and Leno had always gotten the most ratings compared to any other late night talk shows. However, the Daily Show had recently dethroned Leno's show. Does this mean Stewart is the new king of late night talk shows? Listen on as we reveal what our thoughts are and what other late night talk shows we watch mostly. At the end, Dan leads the discussion on the failure of the Movie Pass and this weekend's new movie releases, Zookeeper and Horrible Bosses. Not too long ago, something called the movie pass was introduced to the public, but it was never fully launched. A beta version was being held, but it was short lived due to the big name theaters such as AMC and Landmark could not agree on this.

Episode 12 - Big Win for Gamers & James Spader in 'the Office'
Welcome to the 12th episode of our podcast! In this episode, you will be joined by Dan, Phil, Rob, and Colleen. This week, we replaced our music discussion with a video game topic instead. In 2005, Governor Schwarzenegger attempted to pass a law for California to prevent minors from buying violent video games. However, this law was blocked by the lower courts before it was ever legalized. Phil will be leading this discussion later. It was announced that James Spader will be joining the cast of 'the Office', but he will not be replacing Michael Scott's position at Dunder and Mifflin. Rob will be leading this discussion and reveal who Spader's character will replace instead. If you actually went to watch Cars 2 recently, you might have also caught the teaser for Pixar's next project, Brave. Dan will be leading this topic along with this weekend's new movie releases. If you enjoy this, please feel free to also visit us on wordpress.

Welcome back to our unedited and uncensored segment of Natural Blog of X! In this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, there will be an interview with Gwen Stefani on her solo career and if there is still a future with No Doubt. Welcome to On the Rocks' first official recording! If you listened to our seventh podcast episode on Natural Blog of X, you might have also got a taste of a special debut of On the Rocks segment. If you followed that episode all the way to the end, you might have noticed the episode was cut off in mid-sentence. In order to avoid that from happening again, we had decided to make On the Rocks into a completely different recording session every week. Like how we explained last week, this segment is unlike anything else on the Natural Blog of X. Episode 7 - L.A. Noire and New "On The Rocks" Segment
Welcome to our seventh episode! This week, you will be joined by Phil, Chris, and Rob, and do we have a special treat for you listeners this week! Before we explain what is special about this week's episode, allow us to summarize our usual topics.
As a loyal gamer, Phil had recently purchased a copy of L.A. Noire and explained why this has the potential to be game of the year already. Rob will be sharing his experience at the Sleigh Bells show he attended two weeks ago and lead the discussion on the Office finale and Conan O'Brien's documentary, "Can't Stop". As some of you might know, Hangover 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2 came out this Friday as well, so Chris will be leading that discussion on these two sequels and whether Hangover 2 can do better in the box office compared to its predecessor.
After the first hour of this episode, we added a new segment called On the Rocks. This segment somehow extended the seventh episode for an extra hour. The main purpose of "On the Rocks" is to have undisclosed discussions about topics that do not fit into our usual discussion and are all uncensored. Please enjoy the extra hour as we freely talk about the recent, and unfortunate, death of Macho Man. Chris led the discussion by sharing the way Randy Savage had changed the face of wrestling and how he essentially paved the road to success for guys like Shawn Michaels and Jeff Hardy. We also spoke about Oprah's final show this past week and many other topics, including all of our contributor's 30 Day Song Challenge picks.
